After we made our way to our hotel the 70 degree sunny day gave way to rain and I decided to grab lunch while Eva grabbed a shower. Women have different priorities. The rain shower was over by then and we decided to take a self-paced walking tour of Rome. We walked around the Piazza del Tribulnali, crossed the Tevere River, walked through the Piazza Navorna, past the Piazza Madama and then to... the Pantheon! Was quite crowded with all us touristas, roaming 'round Rome. Here is the outside of it. Can you play "Where's Jeff?".
Beautiful on the inside too, even when Eva's not inside, probably, as evidenced by this pic. You can see how quickly some of these other tourists walk in the background. One of the tour company folks gave us this map with the walking tour all outlined in pink. We probably walked 2 or 3 miles. Not bad after a 9 hour flight!
