6am wake-up call that we didn't ask for. Guess the tour company decided we'd want to get to breakfast at 6:30 to be ready for our 7:30am Rome City Tour. Ordinarily I wouldn't want to get up at 6am on vacation, but since my body doesn't know what time it is anyway, it doesn't make much difference. We got up at 6:30 and made it to breakfast at 7:15. Nice buffet--eggs, bacon, etc.
Here we are in line to get into the Vatican Museum with our radio headsets in our ears. Our tour guide broadcasts to us so we can all hear him. Works well. If you are on a package tour you get in 30 minutes before the general public and the line is a lot shorter. Eva's pretty good at the self-portrait with camera held at arm's length!
